Your data, your choice

You can see, correct, download or delete the personal information Domailfix holds about you, at any time. Most requests take a few clicks. For anything else, write to us and we answer within 30 days.

If you have an account

Sign in and open Profile and settings: Download my data gives you a file with everything we hold, and Delete my account erases it. Under Check history you can clear the list of emails you checked or found.

Connections to your other tools (API keys kept for automatic checks or workflows, a Zoho CRM connection) are removed when you delete the check, the workflow or the connection, or your account.

If you do not have an account

Domailfix does not keep a profile of people. When someone checks an email address, the answer is worked out at that moment. If your address is shown from a public web page as evidence, you can remove it at once with Remove my email address, with no account and no reason needed.

Use this for a copy of your data in another form, a correction you cannot make yourself, an objection to a use of your data, withdrawing consent, naming someone to act for you, or a complaint.

What happens next. We reply within 30 days. To protect you, we may ask you to confirm that the address is yours, for example by replying from it. There is no charge.

If you are not satisfied. In India you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India after raising the matter with us. In the EU or UK you may complain to your local data protection authority.

For business customers

If your company checks its customers' or prospects' addresses with Domailfix, we process those addresses for you. Our Data Processing Agreement template sets out what we process, how it is protected, which service providers help us, and how it is deleted.
