Use Domailfix with ChatGPT

What you can do

Connect Domailfix to ChatGPT and ask in plain words. ChatGPT uses your Domailfix account and credits.

• Verify an email: "Check if priya@company.com is valid."
• Verify a short list: "Verify these 10 addresses and tell me which ones bounce."
• Find a work email: "Find Rahul Mehta's email at company.com."
• Company email format: "What email format does company.com use?"
• Phone numbers: "Check if these phone numbers are valid mobiles."

Before you start

• A Domailfix account. Sign up free at https://domailfix.com/signup
• ChatGPT on the web (chatgpt.com) with Developer mode available. OpenAI offers custom apps on some paid plans, and on Business, Enterprise and Edu an admin may need to switch them on first. OpenAI's help page lists the current plans: https://help.openai.com/en/articles/12584461

Add Domailfix to ChatGPT

• In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
• Back in Apps & Connectors, click Create (in a workspace: Workspace settings → Apps → Create).
• Name: Domailfix. Description: Verify emails, find work emails and check phone numbers. MCP server URL: https://domailfix.com/mcp
• Authentication: OAuth. Leave the client ID and secret empty: ChatGPT registers itself.
• Tick that you trust this app and click Create. A Domailfix window opens: log in and click Allow.
• In a chat, click + next to the message box, choose More, and pick Domailfix. Then ask, for example "Use Domailfix to check priya@company.com".

For a whole team

On Business, Enterprise or Edu, an admin or owner can publish the app to the workspace from Workspace settings → Apps, so members can add it without Developer mode. Each member still connects with their own Domailfix account.

Tools

• verify_email: check one address (1 credit; Unknown results are free).
• verify_emails: check up to 25 addresses at once.
• find_email: find a work email from a full name and company website (2 credits when found).
• find_email_format: see how a company writes its email addresses (half a credit).
• find_company_contacts: a company's public team emails, office phones and social pages (1 credit when found).
• verify_phone_numbers: check phone numbers: valid, type, country and network (5 credits each).
• start_bulk_verification, get_bulk_status, get_bulk_results: check a long list in the background and read the results.

All tools only read and check information. They never send email or messages to anyone.

Credits and privacy

Checks made through ChatGPT use your Domailfix credits, the same as on the website. ChatGPT cannot see your Domailfix password, payments or invoices. Read the Privacy Policy at https://domailfix.com/privacy

To disconnect, open https://domailfix.com/account and click Disconnect next to ChatGPT, or delete the app in ChatGPT.

Troubleshooting

• No Create button: Developer mode is off, or your plan or workspace does not allow custom apps yet.
• ChatGPT does not use Domailfix: pick Domailfix from the + menu, and say "use Domailfix" in your message.
• Could not connect: check the URL is exactly the one above, with /mcp at the end.
• Out of credits: buy more on your account page; the app works again straight away.
